Precious, True

Summer night,

Cool breeze,

Candlelight,

Good friends,

Laughter,

Stories,

Hugs,

Food and wine,

Under the stars,

The passage of time

No barrier

To friendships woven

Long ago,

Forged,

Strengthened,

Embraced,

A gift of time,

A gift of place,

A timeless gift,

Precious, true,

On a summer night
So clear
The stars sparkled
In complete accord.
